2010 Forecast

The New Year 2010 starts out with a bang that turns out as fizzles, spurts and starts, so get ready. First, we have a lunar eclipse on Dec. 31 2009 and that sets all the Capricorn/Cancer placements running for cover and then Mars has turned Retrograde until March and that starts at 19 Leo and heads on back through Leo to 0 degrees before it even decides to move forward affecting Leo/Aquarius axis. Saturn will turn, mid January, from the first of Libra back into Virgo for his last visit affecting the Aries/Libra and Virgo/Pisces axis. Pluto is initiating the first degrees of Capricorn into its intense movement for next few years, then moving on through Capricorn for many years to come, creating more ease with intensity. The solar eclipse, new moon, in Capricorn on the 15th gives everyone a boost in whichever house this lands in….look to your natal placements for the answer. Aries --- Watch how life changes for you right in front of your very eyes, one moment having a relationship with self and others that seems perfectly fine and then finding yourself wanting in that very field of endeavor. You will finally become clear about the things you do not want to pursue in at this time in career, place of work, any stress filled areas of your life. The test will be to become more assertive as to what you 'do' want and be able to tell your partner clearly and frankly. Then the battle of wills will begin so if you are a true Aries you will win out on this, This year stay focused on what you want but at the same time realize that you have to mediate all the mistakes you have made during this last year. You may find that you are more distant from people who have been old friends and become more compatible with those who are new friends. Be sure there are not jealousy issues around that.

Taurus --- This year is about travel and working with new people in new arenas with a focus on quality management in all areas of endeavor. There are some areas that you have not been totally honest with yourself in regard to monies earned and monies spent. Now is the time to confess, at least to yourself and balance your budget, creating new monies that are invested wisely and truthfully. You are a sensual person and must allow your body and mind to welcome sensual touch and feeling from others so if those sensations are not what you feel now, then find others who are willing to play the part and enjoy your sensual dance. This year you might want to take a second look on how you are taking care of yourself and your daily dietary habits, not indulging too much in one thing or another. Believe it or not this is also connected to the discipline of your office and how you keep it organized. Make sure that you are conscious of the healing that can come from organization and accountability.

Gemini --- This will be a year at which time you can get in touch with goals and aspirations that have chances of being completed. You have finally come to terms with some issues around home and family that have been tumultuous to say the least. It is advisable to find some sacred space in all of this to write down and complete some visions you have had in the past regarding your life and passions. Sometimes you are so changeable that you have not honored your own wishes because you forgot all about yourself in the process. You have to remember that you are role modeling for your children as well and you need to see your accountability and responsibility to self as a banner of enlightenment for your children. They will follow in your footsteps in that regard. Teach them to put their needs and responsibilities first in life before tackling other more difficult situations. This is a year to watch for investments and avoid scams. It is also a year that 'the one' might show up and give you a thrill for the moment. Pay attention to your discernment and boundaries as these will be tested in every way.

Cancer --- This year the focus is on family and home. Being able to see the changes needed in these areas of concern, you will make those changes very gradually and may even take it into the year 2011. Some deep concerns revolve around reorganizing and possibly changing some structures in the home, or renovations at the very least. You will be making considerable changes in career paths and looking at those areas of the country where you might find more success. This is hard for you to do since you don't like to be wrenched from your present environment; however, the time may be now to make the 'big move' and putting it off will only make the move harder in the future over the next couple of years. Relationships can be a roller coaster for you at this time, at the same time, you will learn a great deal from your intimate connections. You have to learn to communicate your needs rather than having someone trying to 'guess' what those needs are. Leo --- This year, more than any other recently, you will be getting rid of things and relationships that do not serve you well. To be more exacting, they are relationships that 'use your talents' rather than give back to you. These are matters of the heart and I am sure you understand what that means. It is time to reflect on your past relationships and the way you have designed your 'relationship path' that has made these 'users' possible. There has been a cloud of illusion around you in the past and these illusions are being cleared up daily, usually to your dismay. How did you get into this situation? Old relationships may reappear in some form so that you can atone in some way for the wrongs you have committed or it might be vice versa and the old partner wants to make restitution. Taking care of finances is very important this year if you want to make the most of your income in 2010. Budgeting and finding new ways of making money, not to mention saving any windfalls that come your way, will be uppermost in your mind this year. It is important to keep in touch with siblings this year as family concerns where shared responsibilities may be uppermost in importance. The eclipses this year have to do with your ability to reflect on what 'you' have done psychically to interfere with your goals and objectives.

Virgo --- Virgo will have a serious reorganization problem this year, reorganizing their procedures, the routines by which they thrive, and the stacks of papers at their work place or home office. Virgo's of ten miss the important things in life because they are too busy handling the mundane. They will find out what is really important to them this year and possibly what relationships are important. The Virgo seeks a great relationship with someone with whom they can truly unite, but often settle for someone who is more inferior in ways that eventually get on their last nerve. This will be a year to find creative outlets and also exciting relationships with people who may be friends, lovers and companions. One must be careful to not take too many risks in this department, but instead be truthful and honest in regards to how one feels on a day to day level. The Virgo is healing some past hurts and it takes time to really let this healing set in and have patience. Libra --- Your ability to mediate and be charming in the face of aggressive and assertive confrontations may be tested this year. Scorpio --- Scorpios will be focused on their children and trying to do the 'best' for them but also be focused on their own creativity and what brings them joy. Those Scorpios who have no children might be thinking of conceiving in the next few months. Your creativity and romantic notions are bursting at the seams. As a Scorpio, you might be cutting ties with things and people who have been bringing you 'down' and interfering in your life in a way that is not profitable for you. Money is always a key issue with Scorpio if the money is not available to save and invest. It is time to put things in perspective with Saturn transiting your solar 12th house the next two and a half years. It is time to see how you sabotage yourself and how you treat others as a projection of all of your own dissatisfactions. This is not always an easy task and may cause you some physical pain since you will not be conscious of the emotional pain you have endured through the last twenty years. It is time to make amends with family members as well and allow for individualities in all cases. You can practice unconditional love if you know how!

Sagittarius --- You will find that your home life will be much more contented in this year and spending time at home and with your family becomes more joy filled than ever before. You will be looking at your creative urges and find something at home to dally with so that your creativity is noticed and enjoyed. You will also have more time with your children and the enjoyment of playing, dancing and just being delightful. It seems this year is all about your children and enjoying the things they do, sports, plays, music and the like. You need to look closely at the friends that you have developed over the last many years and ask yourself if these are close friends or just acquaintances. Your career is a focal point this year as well, and may take off in areas that you have not counted on, but enjoy none the less. Watch for your many talents and your ability to express yourself openly and honestly to be appreciated. You will be reaping the rewards of your many years of hard work and stability in your profession. If you have not been stable then there may be a problem, but you will soon correct that! This is a year for dealing with friends, children and issues that surround those subject matters. It will be an enjoyable one if you allow it.

Capricorn --- Capricorns are preparing for the next fifteen years or so of being ultra responsible and taking care of business concerns. This is a time to really learn to manage that money and plan for the future. Retirement may be in your near future, but even if it is not, you must plan for it as time goes by. Take care of your health, especially your bones, teeth and those areas that seem to be neglected . If it is time to join the gym and get a handle on the quality of your own health care, preventive maintenance, then do so now! Capricorns are going through intense feelings of late and their lives are like no other at this time. There may be relationships that are knocking at the door, intense relationships which are somewhat unnerving but also needing to be addressed. There may also be relationships that are ending abruptly and permanently, through separation, death or total abandonment. Make sure that your insurance is taken care of, life, property and health as you might need all of these insurances as the immediate years go by. You will reap the rewards if you take care of these matters now! You are full of your own intensity now and can move the world in many matters, so take heed and do so responsibly and fully, keeping your eye on the ball of your future at all times!

Aquarius --- Aquarians have a year ahead of them that demands that they watch their spending habits. The Aquarian has a tendency to not be realistic about budgeting matters, spending instead of settling debts owed. Now is the time to make a plan for the year and settle all owed debts by the end of the year. You will find that if you do that, the law of karma will allow you to make up the money you have spent paying your debts and your riches will be ten fold. This will be an intense year for you and you will find intense people coming into your life, not to mention intense relationships that will begin and end, some of them being lifetime relationships that surprise even you, the friend of the zodiac. Your own intensity will be matched by someone who will surprise you. It might take time for you to see this, but it will occur no matter what! You might want to reassess your career direction and find out if there are some other avenues that are more appealing to you. It could cause you to do a complete one eighty as to career matters. Don't be surprised if something shows up in the next few months that gives you a clue as to what these changes might be. You might find yourself working in an area that you never dreamed of before.

Pisces --- This year will be to your benefit as you will learn things about yourself and those around you that you have never even been interested in before. You have distanced yourself from those who no longer fit into your new lifestyle, the one that you have recently carved out for yourself. You are now finding new friends and people in your life who will benefit you in the long run. You will find that you can make and save more money this year than ever before because you have changed the inner you and the outer you so that your goals are congruent with your life's path. This is important for you and eye opening as you have learned more about your inner workings this last year, especially toward the end of the year. You might have ended a romantic commitment and a new commitment seems to be on the horizon, a new love interest that seems quite serious is dancing around your relationship house in the zodiac. You are focused more than ever on your overall goals and plans for the future and between now and 2024 those goals will be uppermost in your mind and heart. You will find that you are appreciated more and more for the work you do, so just stay healthy and watch those minor addictions so that you can gain the trust of those who have employed you.
